Gary F. Bulmash is a Distinguished Tyser Teaching Fellow at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business. As a specialist in the area of financial accounting and auditing, Dr. Bulmash helps students to acquire a refined understanding of the financial arena. He currently teaches classes and convenes with students at meetings that are intended to help the attendees to develop an acute knowledge of accounting and auditing processes. Additionally, Dr. Bulmash maintains involvement with various student activities and faculty committees in order to remain abreast of developments at the renowned institute of higher education and to keep informed about the many ways that he can help strengthen academic initiatives.
Mr. Bulmash has amassed a wealth of experience throughout a career that has spanned over 40 years, and he continues to strive for excellence as an educator. He also engages in continuing education with certified public accountants, and he has written materials for many of these courses. In addition, Dr. Bulmas does outside consulting work, and he offers consultative services to people who are seeking expert financial advice. He previously taught at American University for 30 years. More recently, Dr. Bulmash has spoken about and done training in the area of international financial reporting standards in the U.S. and Europe.
